Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick
Gold Bronze, Pink Bronze
After lusting over the Bobbi Brown Shimmer brick for the longest time, I came across Seventeen's version the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick. It comes in two colours pink bronze and gold bronze which duplicate the Bobbi Brown counter part of bronze and pink quartz. At only £4.99 compared to £33 its definitively a massive saving!

The product itself has become part of my everyday makeup. The thing I love most about this product is how universal it is! Due to its gradient you can customize your highlight as you please, either a lighter highlight or a darker highlight incorporating the darker colours. The pigmentation of this is insane allowing you to either do a light dusting or to go to town, whichever you please. A little of this product really does go a long way. I also love the fact that this product has a duo use, as a highlight and each gradient individually as an eyeshadow! The gold bronze brick looks amazing with a tan but also just as good to add a bronzey/gold reflect. I can already tell the pink bronze shade will be my winter favourite, giving a super pretty pink highlight!

I think these shimmer brick's are such a good addition to my makeup collection at under £5 each! Especially seeing as they are so multi functional so would be super helpful when travelling.I'd love to know if you've tried any other shimmer brick's and which ones are at the top of your list.

My affordale lip palette created with budget lipsticks

For the longest time I've wanted to buy a Mac empty palette, buy a 24 lip insert and start my own palette. When I saw that Mac had dropped thier prices of the palettes I instantly picked up them both and started to fill my palette. Although being a student I havent got the money for expensive lipsticks let alone attempt cutting them up, so I decided to buy cheap lipsticks from brands such as Freedom Makeup and MUA. Freedom Makeup are currently doing a deal where if you buy five lipsticks you can get a pound off! As soon as the lipsticks came I started the task of creating my palette.

After a little practice after a few wrong attempts I came to the solution that you pretty much need the whole lipstick to fill a well if you wind it up. However as I disccovered further down the tube is a lot more product so dont throw these away if you want to get the most out of the product. I then simple placed a spoon over a candle and let the lipstick melt ( beware the spoon gets very hot!!). All thats left is for you to poor in the product to the well and allow to set. I think the palette looks so sleek and proffessional and this is such a cheap way to create a perfect travel lip palette especially as I compete in dance frequently!

I'd love to know what you think about this and if you might consider it youself? Feel free to leave any questions about the lipsticks or process and I will get back to you!

Top to bottom;  LR - Hot Plum, Power Peony, Electric Orange, Ravishing Rose, Honey Beige and Velvet Beige

Today I thought I would endeavour into the world of lipsticks. The Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks in particular caught my eye when roaming my local Tesco make up isle. The eye catching packaging which looks sleek yet colourful really drew me in. To my surprise I found that they were a steal at a mere £3 each and snapped up as many shades as I could! With a mix of nudes and out of my comfort zone bright’s, I thought this would be the perfect way to try a summer bold lip. The formula of the lipsticks is rich and creamy in which I would say is a mix between a cremesheen and satin finish. These lipsticks are perfect in between of not matte but not glossy. Although I have been able to make them matte if I wish to by simply blotting with a tissue. The pigmentation of these is incredible and the shade range is so varied, so there's something for everyone! My favourites have to be the nudes as they are in my comfort zone but Hot Plum is definitely something I will be reaching for in Summer for a Bold lip! I would definitely recommend picking up one of these to try; I know I will be growing my collection very soon!

It's that time of year when Lush slash their festive goods by 50% and its the sale that you just cant miss! From bath bombs to shower gels there's hundreds of products to decide from.

The stereotypical blogger sphere favorite of  Snow Fairy is one of my lush festive must haves. This year I managed to stock up on two large bottle and a mini size to keep me going for the next few months. Also I got a mini Rose Jam to keep in my shower gel stash!

Snow Fairy and Rose Jam shower gel

This year I also managed to stock up on quite a selection of bath bombs. I have really gotten into Lush bath bombs recently and thought it would be the perfect time to stock up on some festive scents to try! Along with some bath bombs I also managed to pick up two Snow Fairy Sparkle massage bars which I had been eyeing up since October and never got round to picking up so I'm super excited to try these out seeing as they have the iconic Snow Fairy scent!

As you can tell I love sweet scents so I also picked up Candy Mountain and the Magic Want Bubble Bar. I also picked up two Luxury Lush Pud's, a Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb, So White Bath bomb, Cinder's Bath bomb, a Butter Bear and finally a Melting Snowman! Lush's annual sale is such a good way to try out new products seeing as its 50% of you can indulge yourself to some bath time treats.

I'd love to hear if any of you guys managed to pick up any Lush bargains? I also have lots of scheduled best of the sale posts ready to come in the next few weeks including lots of Soap and Glory sets and Next.  Also I have really tried to improve picture quality in my posts so I'd love to hear your opinions on that as well!

In today's post from Creams to Scrubs!
In today's post from left Grease Lightning, Dream cream, Mint Julips lip scrub, Mask of Magnaminty and Bubblegum lip scrub!

Finally after months of trying to find spare time my blog is up and running! Instead of rambling on about introducing myself I thought I'd go straight in with a new brand I've been absolutely loving lately in all aspects of their products- lush! This might come to a surprise to many of you as I'm only just getting my claws into the brand, but as my local branch only opened just over a year ago I finally delved into the brand. I decided to give you an insight to all of my lush products, but decided to break it into two parts one being the constant lush line which is in today's post followed by a second post showing some of the festive lush bits I managed to pick up over the festive season!

Grease Lightning
My first purchase (or should it be gift received from my mum) was the lush grease lightning spot treatment for when I first started pesky skin problems. I remember seeing someone post this on Instagram and thought for the size was extremely overpriced. But I was wrong! This goes such a long way seeing as I've been using it over a year and its still going strong. This product is perfect for when you feel a spot on the horizon. A pump of this and your good to go!

Dream Cream
Dream cream is exactly what it says on the tin- it does wonders!! I first of all came in contact with the product when one of my mums friend gave us a sample to help with my sisters skin. I have a major oily t-zone which seem to constantly be erupting lately, on the flip side I have incredibly dry skin around my eyebrows. This product is super rich in moisturising properties which has helped calm down my dryness around this area, and also helps with calming down my t zone as well!

Mask of Magnaminty
Mask of Magnaminty is up next and is defiantly one of my holy grail lush products even after such a short period. I was introduced to the product while I was watching Nicole on you tube when she had such high praise for the product so popped into my local lush and picked a large tub up. Having my skin in such a bad state lately this is such a saviour! The mask is easy to apply and shows results instantly calming the skin in a instant, making this my star lush buy.

Bubblegum Lip Scrub
Both of the next two products come under the lip scrub area so thought I'd stick them together. I own both the Bubblegum (my favourite) and the Mint Julips which tastes exactly like after eight mints!!! They both do wonders for the lips especially in the colder months. Although there isn't that much to say about these they are great defoliators for your lips and defiantly go a long way! Along with a variety of flavours and textures for everyone you cant go wrong.

Have you tried any of these products or have any suggestions? I'd love to hear them! Stay tuned for part two of Lush brand focus on more of their festive products!
